The California Coastal Collection

Over the years, we've spent plenty of time up and down California's coast. Both Tony and Joe Toulon attended college at the University of San Francisco after growing up just north of San Diego.

We know this freeway well.

As you work your way north, the landscapes change. Sandy beaches and crashing waves turn into dense forests, vineyards and towering redwoods. It can be hard to believe it’s all in the same state. That's what inspired this collection.

A new Coastal California face mill is inspired by the California highway signs and a Golden Sand PVD finish coupled with Ocean Blue accents calls to mind the collision of sand and sea.

The four models are different for a reason. Just like the places that inspired them.

Four Places. Four Putters.

LEUCADIA is relaxed, understated, & effortlessly cool.

PASO ROBLES is classic, warm, & unhurried.

BIXBY is clean, balanced, & built with purpose.

MILL VALLEY is quiet, refined, & full of character.

Those ideas found their way into four new designs.

Different places. Different vibes.

All unmistakably California.

DAY 1

LEUCADIA

Leucadia is its own little enclave within the beach city of Encinitas, just north of San Diego.

Calling it slow-paced implies it has a pace at all. That easygoing attitude inspired the newest member of our blade lineup.

Leucadia takes cues from the familiar shapes of our La Jolla and Santa Monica, softening the transitions throughout the head for a cleaner, more relaxed look.

The tri-sole sits naturally at address with a subtle flattened center section, while a simple sight dot keeps the top line clean. The sole artwork is inspired by the welcome signs that greet you as you enter beach towns. They’re simple, iconic and they stick with you.

Our new Coastal California face mill pairs with a softened H1 L-neck to create 45° of toe hang for players with a natural arc.

Simple. Clean. Easy to like. Just like its namesake.

DAY 2

PASO ROBLES

From Leucadia, we move inland to Paso Robles. The vibes are distinctly different, but there is an ever-present undercurrent of California in both locales.

Where Leucadia evokes surfboards and cold beer on a patio, Paso Robles is more oak trees and vineyards. Both are awesome, neither are rushed.

Paso Robles is our take on the classic mallet. The proportions are balanced, the lines are clean and the details are deep.

The Ocean Blue three-piece sole adds depth beneath a timeless shape while keeping the focus where it belongs. The putter sits beautifully behind the ball and the double bend neck helps you minimize arc and return the putter head back to where it started.

Classic never goes out of style.

DAY 3

BIXBY

Turn back west and set your sights on Big Sur. Considered by many the most beautiful coastline in California (and possibly beyond), perhaps its most iconic feature is the Bixby Creek Bridge. It has become one of California's most recognizable landmarks because it's both beautiful and incredibly well engineered.

That same mindset shaped Bixby.

Based on the DNA of our Las Vegas mallet, Bixby adds a longer hosel to create a face-
balanced option for players looking for maximum stability. The shape of the flange is directly inspired by the shape of the Bixby Bridge’s arch. Every line has a purpose.
Every curve supports the shape.

The Golden Sand PVD calls to mind the sand the Bixby Bridge is over while the Ocean
Blue three-piece sole combines lightweight 6061 aluminum with a polymer center
section featuring a subtle wave pattern inspired by the Pacific below.

Balanced. Stable. Built to perform.

DAY 4

MILL VALLEY

Crossing Bixby and moving north, Mill Valley has a little bit of everything. Towering redwoods. Great architecture. Unbelievable golf.

Just down the road sits Meadow Club, one of Alister MacKenzie's earliest North American designs and still one of California's hidden gems.

That understated confidence inspired Mill Valley.

A heel-shafted mid-mallet with flowing transitions and softened geometry, it all but disappears at address. The Ocean Blue three-piece sole provides a subtle contrast beneath the Golden Sand finish—a detail that's there for the player more than anyone else.

Clean lines. Quiet confidence.
