The Story
In the year 2024, get ready for the ultimate showcase of the world's most elite athletes. Our newest addition to the Small Batch line, Paris, takes cues from the putter used by the current Olympic gold medalist, with a touch of sophistication perfect for a putter bearing the name of the City of Lights.
Address view
This compact winged mallet incorporates design cues from the original Las Vegas design, with a unique top line that flares out to the toe and heel points. This complements the overall profile shape of the putter, leaving the thinnest part of the top line in the center to provide a natural framing of the golf ball at address. This simple design element enhances the alignment aids provided by the top line and the wings.
Paris utilises a new, shorter H1 hosel with a plumber's neck design, following the trend towards smaller mallets. This design creates a 25-degree toe hang and full shaft offset, resulting in a traditional blade-style putter swing with added alignment features due to its unique winged shape.
Paris boasts a unique design with a 3 inch face from toe to heel and front to back. This expertly crafted geometry offers better balance and precise aiming, making it a top choice for golfers looking to improve their game.
Back Cavity
Optimising sound and feel can be a difficult task when it comes to winged shape mallets. The putter, resembling a tuning fork, often produces unpleasant frequencies due to the oscillation of its wings upon impact. Countless hours were dedicated to perfecting the shape, dimensions, and face thickness of Paris in order to achieve a superior performance, sound, and feel that golfers will thoroughly enjoy.
Not just a pretty face
The renowned deep diamond groove mill pattern, utilised in Paris, has been responsible for numerous iconic moments in golf, such as Schauffele's triumphant victory at the 2024 PGA Championship and the two record-breaking performances at the 2022 US Open and the 2024 PGA.
This face mill offers two significant performance enhancements - increased sound and feel, and enhanced forward roll. Our use of this cutting-edge technology is strategically based on its proven ability to deliver exceptional results in sound, feel, and roll quality.
The Sole
The Toulon Golf Small Batch Paris sole presents a larger canvas for graphic design which embraces the namesake city with a touch of flair. The iconic Eiffel Tower is flanked by a recurring Toulon logo and Paris wordmark, expertly engraved to evoke renowned French fashion brands. A visually striking display created through a combination of milling techniques.
The Finishing Touches
To evoke the sophisticated atmosphere of the City of Light, we have developed a Champagne-inspired finish for our 904L stainless steel body. Drawing inspiration from the renowned sparkling wines of France, our process involves misting before applying the Champagne PVD, resulting in a stunningly beautiful geometric head design. The final touch is a blend of translucent and opaque paintfill, seamlessly completing the visual package.
